Mr. Hamlin brings a wealth of real estate background and information to the firm. His real estate background stems from Federal, State, and local Land Acquisition. He has and currently represents state, county and city agencies implementing large-scale public acquisition and relocation projects as well as utility companies providing land services such as site selection, BPO’s as well as acquisition and relocation services . He has successfully negotiated and closed over $40 million worth of commercial properties including office, retail, commercial, industrial and manufacturing. He has worked with hundreds of first time homebuyers, individuals, and families assisting them in the purchase of replacement homes resulting from the required relocation of various public improvement projects such as roadway and airport expansion projects.
Mr. Hamlin has been active in the metro Atlanta residential market for more than a decade. His skill set offers his clients an exceptional resource for the sale or purchase of their next home. He has a no nonsense approach to real estate transactions offering honest opinions and representations. His ability to guide his clients through each transaction, while adapting to each individuals needs results in smooth flowing transactions.
The detailed reporting required to state, county, and city agencies has allowed him to develop the negotiation, planning and timing skills necessary to produce excellent results in the real estate field. Further, he has developed relationships with lenders, appraisers, home inspectors and attorneys throughout the metro area and state of Georgia.
His appraisal skills were honed while preparing comparable housing determinations for various public agencies. He has successfully mastered the ability to assess the market data and arrive at the markets costs of comparable housing. He now brings these skills to our clients assuring them that he has the ability to assist them while preparing offers to purchase and or listing prices and regularly prepares CMAs or a Comparable Market Analysis. A CMA is not an appraisal, but is an extremely effective method of determining a suggested listing price and or offer to purchase. On a side note he has written an appraisal continuing education course that has been approved by the Georgia State Appraisers Board.
He has held or holds memberships with the Atlanta Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and First Multiple Listing Service.

Stuart is a native of Atlanta, growing up in Gwinnett County. He currently reside in South Forsyth County. Upon graduation from the University of Georgia, he became a full service Loan Officer. Stuart spent seven years in the mortgage industry serving as branch manager for two firms and even opening his own brokerage firm. His combination of skills sets him apart from competing agents. His mortgage background has given him an understanding of the financial industry, allowing him to help clients navigate loan programs, closing costs, and interest rates. When issues arise during the loan process, he has the ability to find solutions that get everyone to the closing table as quickly as possible. His combined experiences allow him to guide clients through the many facets of buying or selling.
Since joining Hamlin and Company in 2007, he has worked with home buyers and sellers all over the North Metro Atlanta area. In addition, he has represented government agencies as well as private companies in numerous large and small scale land acquisition projects. These acquisition projects have provided experience and negotiation skills that he regularly uses in residential transactions. In an ever changing industry, Stuart knows it is imperative to stay on the cutting edge of all that is current and effective in today’s market.
When not helping clients buy and sell homes, he enjoys playing golf (poorly) and traveling with his wife. They are members of Northpoint Community Church and have become involved in international mission work through Global X.
Sharion Hamlin

Mrs. Hamlin brings years of office management experience to the firm. In 2001 Mrs. Hamlin joined Hamlin & Company full time and has been a driving force in office policies & operation. Her innovative approach to “back office” operations assures our clients the most efficient & effective support staff available. In 2003, Mrs. Hamlin co-founded a residential real estate investment firm and successfully managed the acquisition and rehab of multiple residential projects with Hamlin & Company acting as the brokerage for her investment firm.. Mrs. Hamlin is currently working towards hers Sales Person License in order to assist the sales team at H & C.
Dave Walker

Mr. Walker is an experienced real estate investor and a licensed real estate professional. The real estate investment company he founded in 2003 has successfully identified and purchased profitable investment properties through county foreclosure auctions, commercial REO auctions, HUD and FNMA bids, and from other investors. He is a Gold Business Member and active participant in the Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance.
In 2009, Mr. Walker became a member of the Hamlin & Company team focused on identifying and procuring undervalued properties for real estate investors and owner occupants. His experience with all aspects of the procurement process from locating properties, property valuation, purchasing negotiations and controlled closing
provides reassuring confidence to first-time or seasoned buyers. He thrives on guiding buyers to the close of an outstanding deal on a valuable investment property or permanent home.
Mr. Walker applies to real estate transactions the business skills learned in a 35-year career as a Ph.D. research scientist and entrepreneur. He left the Georgia Tech research faculty to co-found and manage two companies that developed special nuclear instrumentation for government laboratories and nuclear power plants around the world. Both companies were later sold to publicity held companies. He is a past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Nuclear Society, and during the past decade has served as a management consultant to US and international companies in acquisitions, mergers and strategic planning for high-tech companies.
